COPPA Compliance
What is COPPA?
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) is a United States federal law that protects the online privacy of children under the age of 13. It requires websites directed to children, or that have knowledge they are collecting personal information from children under 13, to obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting such information.
Our Practices
Phone Cases For Kids is a storefront that sells phone cases themed for children, but all commercial transactions are conducted with adults. We do not:
• Collect personal information from children under 13
• Require registration or account creation by any user
• Use tracking, behavioral advertising, or third-party analytics
• Store browsing history, profiles, or persistent identifiers linked to any individual
Age Verification at Checkout
Before proceeding to payment, we ask users to confirm they are 18 or older. If they indicate they are not 18+, they are directed to seek assistance from a parent or guardian. No purchase can be completed without this confirmation.
No Personal Data Collected from Children
Our site does not collect names, email addresses, physical addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal information from any visitor — adult or child. The only data stored on your device is your shopping cart (in your browser's localStorage), which never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us except as part of a checkout request.
Contact a Parent or Guardian
If you are a parent or guardian and have questions about your child's use of this site, please contact us at privacy@phonecasesforkids.com.
